But really, how do days and weeks and months melt together like that? Moments mingle and mix together in such a way that I sometimes can't remember the order in which they happened.

There have been moments of extreme happiness, extreme sadness and total all out craziness. But through it all we have been there for one another and I can't imagine anyone else that I would rather be with than him.
Taken on a hike to Lake Aloha in the desolation wilderness. near South Lake Tahoe. This is one of our favorite long weekend hikes.
He is good to me and good to my mom.
We see eye to eye on most things and those that we don't it is okay because who wants to always agree on everything. Having someone help you see the world in a different way is important. He has taught me to trust, to love more than I ever thought I could.
Yeah, there have been nights spent on the couch, angry and frustrated- but there have also been nights spend tangled, entwined with one another, and those nights where we just peacefully sleep next to one another and feel safe.
We have been on adventures almost since the moment we met- an adventure is how we started dating actually and this is probably one of the things that makes me the most happy. We know how to travel with each other, having someone to take a journey with is really what marriage is all about. A journey into life.

I love you A. You make my world shine and make me proud. This year holds all sorts of new. We have a new adventure in front of us as parents. I am so excited that we have taken this step. Thank you for all that you do and all that you are. Happy Anniversary.
