We celebrated our holiday with part of the family early. We had a great dinner (thanks Lo!) and played board games. Opened presents for the kids and just enjoyed the snow.
Sat by the fire and drank funny eggnog.
Kept little hands busy by making a gingerbread house.
oohed and ahhed at the tree (this is the first Christmas for three of the four cousins)
and some of us even got a nap in or two..
I made "pajama bags" for the cousins this year and filled them with a few toys, two new pairs of and pj's each and of course a good bed-time book.
(The idea came from the "Creative Family" book Soulemama.)
Happy Solstice!
Happy Winter!
such a sweet family portrait!
