About a month ago, Daddy-O took O to the store. When they came home, they had a new bike.

O has been doing great on his balance bike, but really wanted a pedal bike. So we decided it was time.

Almost ever evening, after we get home from work and school, we are outside.

Helmets in place, the kids pedal around the backyard patio or around the block.
(Fifi has a helmet too, I just hadn't gotten it on her yet. With my history with bikes and lack of protective head gear they know the rules.)

I love that it is still light out when we get home. We can squeeze in one more dose of fresh air and get out that extra energy before dinner time.

Even I have gotten in on the fun.
