Let's just get this out of the way shall we?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME TODAY!
As hula says, there's nothing quite like a list to round out the end of a one year and the start of a new one. Here are 30 things I did in the past year. (btw, it's her birthday today too so go on over and wish her a happy new year!)
In no particular order....
1. Got pregnant
2. Went to Vegas with the girls
3. Went to Hawaii
4. Watched my best friend get married
5. Watched whales breach
6. Watched the sun rise
7. Won an award at work
8. Taught yoga
9. Hung my photography in a show
10. Jumped into Donner Lake with my bff, old school style (off the docks, in my knickers)
11. Watched fireworks from my front yard
12. Watched fireworks in a new town
13. Watched a parade
14. Grew a garden
15. Walked barefoot in the grass
16. Made cookies (lots and lots of cookies)
17. Celebrated 5 years
18. Made beer in the front yard
19. grew bigger and bigger and bigger
20. got an ultra sound (or two)
21. Said goodbye to a grandmother
22. Attended a baby shower (that wasn't for me)
23. Swam laps at the local pool
24. Went fishing
25. Played in the snow
26. Sat in the photobooth with my man
27. Welcomed a new niece and two new nephews into this world
28. Voted and was over joyed with the outcome.
29. Fell in love
30. laughed, cried and was THANKFUL
What a wonderful way to memorialize a special year in your life. So much happens to us, we can't just let it escape without acknowledgment. That's what makes a blog such a good idea. Have a happy, happy, happy day!
