creative space

Where do you get creative?

What is your favorite medium?

Your muse?

Do you set aside specific time during the day or week to be creative or are you lucky enough to let the magic flow any time it strikes you?

Do you like to get creative with others or do you find a solo gig is more productive?

Where do you draw your inspiration from? If they are online leave me links.

Tomorrow I draw names for the pay it forward drawing. Say hello if you haven't yet done so.

Hope you all are having a wonderful week.

  1. Hi Nessie, My creative outlets change as my life demands change; right now, I am caring for two elderly parents - so my creative outlet is stolen time on my blog and reading other blogs. My muse is life. PJ

  2. wonderful! i love to see others' creative spaces! mine is always changing because i'm chasing after two kids. sometimes in a cafe, sometimes standing in the kitchen, sometimes in the car at a red light... wherever. solo gigs are my thing - i love being around others when they create because of the wonderful energy, but don't create well myself when i'm in a group.

  3. Creative spaces are so inspiring! I love seeing where people create and the little things they add to make them special. I'm so excited to have my own room / studio at home now. I carve out time when I can after the kids are in bed or on the weekends mostly to let my creative juices flow.

I'm inspired by so, so many artists and by words. Inspiring words and text always make me smile!

I think I do my best work when I'm alone, but I love the vibe being around other creative types!

  4. Argh! I just typed my response and >poof! Gone.

Where? Wherever is clean, usually my desk or the kitchen table.

Media? Yarn, photography. I’d love to add fabric and thread to this.

Muse? She is wily. She comes and goes. I now know better than to force her and just wait patiently for her arrival.

Time? Ha ha! I’m lucky if I can find 10 minutes in a day to do anything but I’m always thinking and scheming.

Solo, but I’d love to collaborate. Again, it’s that time issue. :)
