wisdom from an elder... corner view

Hello! how are you all? Long time no type, huh?

Things are good, work is crazy, the baby is getting more teeth, I am healthy, the sun is shining outside and it is still light out when I get home from work!
so good.

This week's corner view challenge is, "wisdom from an elder". I instantly thought of this photo that I snapped at my best friend's wedding. She and her sweets got hitched at a fancy little spot in Maui 2 years ago (really, 2?). This adorable couple who were at the hotel where the reception was being held came over to Em and handed her this drink coaster- I love the words and the special gift from a stranger....
random well wishes

it reads,

Wisdom gained from 51 years-
Forgive quickly
Hug deeply
Kiss slowly
Love truly

I sorta get all teary eyed just reading it...

  2. OMG... Wow. What else can be said after that?

  3. This brought tears to my eyes, to know these wonderful words came from stranagers passing by. xo

  4. good to see you back on here!
and what a sweet post. very good advice...taking note.

i bet they'd be surprised to know that their wisdom is being shared on the internet...spreading the goodness beyond just the couple it was intended for.

    that is sweet, yes?

  5. Definitely teary here, too. Thanks for posting and welcome home. It's so good to see you old friend. xo

  6. What a perfect message, and from strangers no less. It's perfect. I can't say more. I'm going to write it down and post it on my fridge.
