Plumas-Eureka, that is.
Another weekend, another adventure. We headed up to the Plumas-Eureka State Park this weekend.
A place that Andy has been wanting to stay at for well over 3 years now .
He rallied the troops and we wound up with a nice little group to camp with.
Our friends C and J and thier two girls and Andy's sister L and her two kids.
(Their dad surprised us by coming up on Saturday night, he hadn't been feeling well the day before.)

I rolled into camp just in time.
Dinner was just being served, Fifi and her cousin B. made quick work of their pasta and then we headed over and watched a little show.
There is nothing like campfires and music.

We all slept like champs on Friday and on Saturday morning we were ready to go for adventure.
We took a little tour around the rest of the camp ground.
Then we got snacks and towels together and headed down to the creek for a little gold panning,
and cooling off.
and cooling off.
Someone took a little dip and needed to be dried off
Campsite cooking is always fun,
no matter how old you are.
Saturday night, we knew one of the musicians.
M on spoons!!!
Sunday mornings are always a little sad, time to back up the tent and gear and head home-
but not before a good cup of something warm and a snuggle around the campfire.
