It's almost July, but June isn't about to go out with out making a fuss. She has brought some incredible heat the past couple of days.

We are doing what we can to stay cool.

This includes post dinner pool parties in the back yard and trips to higher altitudes and snow run off at Donner Lake. I also splurged and bought otter pops for the kids (yum).

Someone got her first hair cut on Sunday.
There may or may not have been a sucker bribe involved.
And some DJ Lance on the iphone. For distraction.

I keep having to do double takes when I look at her now.
 I knew it would change the way she looks, but now she looks like a big girl and not my baby girl so much.

sigh.... it really does go so fast.

from 90+

to a mere 80 something.

This is when I wish there was a scratch and sniff screen.

You guys, it smells so GOOD out there; ozone and sagebrush, my summer favorite 

(right next to bbq, how the heck did I survive as a vegetarian??? tee hee).
