The Odyssey

Last Friday Andy and I set out on a little adventure. It included lots of sweat and a tiny, little bit of sleep.

Don't get all crazy on me now, although these girls did. (Keep Calm and Run Thong).

We were on a team with 10 other people running the Reno Tahoe Odyssey. 

 

 

The course loops from Reno to Truckee, to Lake Tahoe, through Genoa and Carson City, up to Virginia City and back down to Reno.



One hundred and seventy eight miles in all. 

We had so much fun, pushed ourselves super hard and made some new friends along the way.

 

I never thought I would say this, but I can't WAIT for next year's race.

 

What a crazy and totally fun event.

Although our team wasn't in it to set any records, we are pretty proud of our times and accomplishment.

We came in 46th out of 148 in our division and 97th out of 256 overall!
