And, she's up.

night time

This time of year I have to accept the dark and the night that sets in earlier and earlier each evening. I count down the days to the winter solstice and the return of the light. I make myself get out for mid day walks. Having photo projects helps motivate me to seek the sun and the shifting rays of warmth.
Last night, however, I took in the evening and the lack of light.
I snuggled into it and it felt good.

Those elusive dishes that show up after the washer is full and already running for the night.

The last thing I see before I head up the stairs for bed.
