when your mailbox is filled with good
A few months ago I spotted some fantastic artwork being created by "the bean" and "the bug". I commented about how much I love kid art and that maybe hanging some in the "kid" rooms of my house may help get the energy flowing...
Sara promptly responded. She had kid art coming out of her ears. A swap was born.
Last night when I opened my mail box there was a package from Ontario inside. Several drawings and paintings were wrapped up neatly in twine. But there were also moo cards, beautiful fall leaves, Polaroids and a orange polka-dot scarf. (also a few other little things including a bar of chocolate).
it reminds me again why I love the connections I have made on the blog and on Flickr. There are these amazing people out there in the world, who are willing to take a little time and fill a package with artwork, hand written notes and random goodness like leaves and an old postcard.
I have several packages that need to be put in the mail in the next week or so. Thank yous, and swaps, little hellos and a few congratulations.
I only hope they can be as thought filled and generous as the one I just received.
Thanks you Sara, Bean and Bug!
