I got such amazing gifts this year.

Did you see the Polaroid over on flickr that my mom found at the local thrift store?

I told you she has magic thrifting dust. It is in great condition and I might even be able to use it still- check out this blog for cool Polaroid info (and photos).

Daddy-O is a very good listener.
I mentioned in passing about a pair of earrings that I really liked that I found on line. He didn't just get me one, but two pairs of new earrings! these and these
swoon. They are so pretty and simple and go with just about everything.
It makes him crazy that I don't have a good bag to hold all my gear in so he found a camera bag, a back pack actually to stash and tote my gear around in (and keep it all safe). It is really nice and now I can bring along more than just one lens when we go somewhere. He also found a remote for my camera, which might make those jumping shots a little easier. And finally, this lens. How fun is that? Here are a couple shot taken with it.



Daddy-O took these while we were up in Truckee visiting family. It is really fun to use, but makes you a little dizzy with the mirror and all. Once I get a bit more comfortable with it I think it will be really great, especially for when we travel!

With all this new camera gear I better get out and take some pictures I guess!!
