wagon boy

He looks like such a big, big boy in this shot, maybe his new haircut? or maybe, just maybe he isn't such a baby any more...

I was cooking dinner a few nights ago and O pulled this wagon (which was mine as a kid) into the kitchen. He usually pushes all his toys around the island, crashing into the cabinets, the kitchen chairs on his way or when his aim is really good my ankles... I was trying to not pay attention to him so I could get dinner done (not making eye contact is an important diversionary tactic, as are grahm crackers and peanut butter...)

Any way, I heard him throwing all the toys out onto the floor (chucking things across the room is a new favorite past time, not just toys but food. I was splattered in pasta a couple of days ago, good times). I heard a few grunts and I turned around to see him in the wagon, no help needed.

He sorta got stuck in there. But like any good photographer mama, I grabbed my camera and snapped away. He will thank me in the long run, right?

  1. That haircut did change his look! I remember anytime I cut Kidlet's hair when she was that age, it would totally transform her.

    Cutie. Sigh.

  3. I absolutely love this post! What a funny little guy he is...and even though he's looking more and more like a little boy, he'll always be your baby.
Can't wait to start having things chucked at me!

  4. Lu is 4 and she is still my baby (though I must admit, they stop looking as much like babies about 3-ish when they go from toddler to bona fide kid)
I'm glad you caught this moment!
