she's a camper all right

The first time we took her camping she was under a year old. Sitting up and maybe crawling a little. But over the past year she has gotten pretty used to the adventure and I think we have done it right.

The girl is totally at home in the tent.

She's got this nap thing in the bag.

(what is it about tent sleeping that I feel so compelled to document?)

She loves a good snack and I think she ate her weight in grapes over the weekend.

Drink when your thirsty, even if it isn't yours.

 

The girl has some tough soles.
She wouldn't wear shoes almost all weekend.
No shoes make it much easier to enjoy the creek when your ready to cool off.

 

While her brother napped, she was on a serious mission to collect  rocks and pine cones.

She plays a mean harmonica.

She'll light your fire (and is obviously not afraid of a little dirt)

water = fun

A good breakfast is the key to a great day.
